Follow-up care

Follow-up care is a key step in the healthcare process that focuses on the long-term treatment and rehabilitation of patients after acute or serious medical conditions. This form of care is intended for patients who require continued and specialized care after hospitalization or surgery.

We provide several important follow-up care services:

Intensive aftercare is for patients who require continued monitoring and support after a stay in the intensive care unit. Our trained medical teams specialize in caring for patients with complex health needs and work to maximize their recovery.

Long-term intensive nursing care is designed for patients who require continuous and extensive nursing care after complex surgical procedures, serious injuries, or prolonged critical conditions. Our nursing care teams are trained to provide a high level of care and ensure patient comfort and safely.

The department of long-term inpatient care offers treatment and convalescence to all patients in stable health after surgical procedures, cardiovascular and vascular disease, stroke, but also patients with chronic pain or cancer. The aim of our care is to achieve the highest possible mobilization of the patient so that he/she can return to his/her home environment as soon as possible. Long-term inpatient care units focus more on nursing care, including rehabilitation and support for return to the home environment, as opposed to long-term care facilities which are more focused on medical care.

We provide respite care for people caring for their loved ones on a long-term basis. We are here for you and your family members. The advantage is the good close connection to the acute wards (internal medicine, surgery, neurology, after discharge can be followed-up with home healthcare services). We provide not only health but also social counselling.

After knee or hip replacement surgery, it is important to provide patients with rehabilitation to help restore strength, mobility and functionality to the affected joint. Our dedicated rehabilitation teams develop individual rehabilitation plans and use modern technology and equipment to achieve the best results.

We understand that many patients prefer to continue their recovery and treatment in the comfort of their own home. That’s why we also provide home care services that include nursing care, health monitoring, medication administration and other necessary support in your home environment. Our teams are ready to give you the care you need and allow you to recover in familiar surroundings.

In addition to the above mentioned services, we also provide other types of follow-up care specifically tailored to patients’ needs. This may include physiotherapy, rehabilitation, for vascular events, walking school for amputees, occupational therapy, supportive psychological care, and other specialized therapies.

We believe that follow-up care is the key to patients full recovery and return to their daily lives. Our facilities are equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and experienced professionals who are here to give you the care you need.
